The Dodgers looked to be in trouble in the do-or-die Game 7 when they trailed 3-0 in the third inning after Bo Bichette fired off a three-run home run off Ohtani. However, they clawed their way back, with Miguel Rojas tying the game in the top of the ninth inning to force extra innings.

Will Smith sealed the deal for the Dodgers with a solo shot in the 11th inning, giving them the 5-4 victory and the World Series title.

During the game, though, it was not only the players who grabbed the attention of fans. Even the wives of the players took center stage, with Ohtani’s wife in particular sparking plenty of buzz.

Mamiko Tanaka, who married Ohtani in 2024, attended the game and turned heads after Chelsea Freeman — the wife of first baseman Freddie Freeman — posted a photo of them along with the other Dodgers WAGs.
